To make one cup of Akili tea, place one tea bag in a cup, add boiling water. Steep 2-3 minutes, or more to desired taste. Enjoy.

 

Brewing directions for loose tea
Brewing Akili loose tea is a simple process.
No strainer or tea ball is required. Measure and add tea to boiling water. When tea is ready, loose leaves will settle to the bottom of the pot.

  1. Heat 3 cups of fresh water to the boiling point in a pot.
  2. Add in 1/ 2 tsp of the tea for hot or 1 tsp for iced tea.
  3. Immediately remove the tea pot from the heat.
  4. Let the tea stand for three minutes. Longer if stronger tea is desired.
  5. Pour the tea slowly into the drinking cup for hot. For cold - chill in refrigerator.
  6. You may spice the tea with ginger, cinnamon, lemon or spice
    of your choice if you wish.
  7. The tea is ready for serving hot or cold. ENJOY your tea.
