Brewing directions for tea bag
To make one cup of Akili tea, place one tea bag in a cup, add boiling water. Steep 2-3 minutes, or more to desired taste. Enjoy.
Brewing directions for loose tea
Brewing Akili loose tea is a simple process.
No strainer or tea ball is required. Measure and add tea to boiling water. When
tea is ready, loose leaves will settle to the bottom of the pot.
- Heat 3 cups of fresh water to the boiling point in a pot.
- Add in 1/ 2 tsp of the tea for hot or 1 tsp for iced tea.
- Immediately remove the tea pot from the heat.
- Let the tea stand for three minutes. Longer if stronger tea
is desired.
- Pour the tea slowly into the drinking cup for hot. For cold
- chill in refrigerator.
- You may spice the tea with ginger, cinnamon, lemon or spice
of your choice if you wish.
- The tea is ready for serving hot or cold. ENJOY your tea.
